About
Happy Jelly Project
Project for the large format printing house
Creation of Happy Jelly name, logo and loads of illustrations for different purposes
First came the name of the brand. The only two requirements were to create a brand of wall stickers for children and the second one to design something completely out of the box. Just like the name itself, so does the logo. I'm ashamed to admit it, but it took me very little time to come up with the name because I have children myself, so thinking out of the box is a daily occurrence. Logo design was a different story when it comes to the time I needed :)
Lots of illustrations
for small wall stickers
Creation of the small stickers was quite funny. Every sticker was “tested” on my and my friends’ kids. After all, the stickers had their place on the walls of children's rooms! From the technical side, each project had to meet production conditions, so combining these requirements was chellenging sometimes.
Working on large
format bitmaps
Important part of the project was creating large format stickers, mostly printed in one piece. When working on vector designs the size was not an issue at all. The challenge appeared when preparing quite big ones as bitmaps in high resolution. Despite temporary obstacles, the result was stunning!
Follow the magic
One of the parts of the whole process was to come up with illustrative content in terms of children's age and interests as well as production possibilities and sticking by parents. The most helpful thing in finding ideas was going back to the times when I was a child and I dreamed of impossible things.
In the world of posters
Various sizes and themes for every space and wall of child’s room. You can see here just a fraction of all illustrations made for this purpose.
